OSAP classifies a student as full-time if they are taking at least 60 per cent of a full-time course load .
If you are pursuing a full-time OSAP eligible program on a part-time basis (20 to 59 per cent course load), you may qualify for a Part-time Student Loan. If you have a permanent disability with a course load between 40 per cent and 59 per cent, it is usually better to apply for Full-time OSAP in order to maximize your grant funding.
